Blue gum eucalyptus...
I have a friend in Southern California who sends me his trash wood once in a while. Neither of us think the wood is trash but the wood he sends is harvested from invasive species. One of my favorite trash species is blue gum eucalyptus.
I think it turns perfectly, is easy to sand and finishes like a dream.
This little box is 2 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" in diameter.
Mikey, send me some more trash.
