threaded lid boxes
I will be doing a demo for the Peachstate woodturners in Atlanta on July 7th. The demo will be on threading wood. I built these boxes with various ways of threading and solving problems. There are hand chased threads in epoxy. A threaded insert and 2 done with various threading machines that I own. One is the Baxter threader from Bestwoodtools.com and the other is the Chefwarekits threader. Tomorrow I will be turning a box with my homemade threading jig and a new homemade jig I just built this morning.
