My first real lathe

Before this I used a drill mounted to a workbench to be my lathe. About 1982 I bought a shopsmith and built this shop in the back bedroom of a 2 bedroom apartment. I've come a long way since then but even back then everything was organized and had it's place.

I had the same setup. The Shopsmith with the Bandsaw and 4" Jointer attachments.

I too started out with a shopsmith. In fact I have had 3 over the years. Excellent drill press.
