shop update

I got the shop sprayed with foam yesterday. I was deciding whether or not to put a ceiling in. Decided not to so he sprayed on top of the metal supports which will help the R value there. I will start putting the walls up today. Lowes delivered the 4x9 OSB the next morning so it's sitting in the garage ready to do. Not looking forward to drilling all the holes I will have to drill. I got some self tapping screws and they seemed to work well on my test so that should save some time and hassle if they work going through the wood which I think they will. I'm going to use my electric drill which should work better than my Battery drills. It runs at a higher rpm. It was kind of slow going with the battery. We will see. This is a ridgid foam and adds tremendously to the strength of the building.

I am a little worried about winds but there are an awful lot of these around my area and most I see aren't built as well. The foam acts like a glue and is quite stiff and they built it up in the areas where it joins the roof.
