Making a pair of champagne glasses

Tom Lightner

Would like some advice on making a pair of crystal champagne glasses for a wedding. How to cut the stems on crystal champagne flute, turning the stems from walnut and best way to attach flute to base. Thanks in advance !

Score the stem with a Dremel diamond wheel - once scored, they will break-off clean and easy -- leave enough to stick down into the wood --attach with E6000 -- I have done a few dozen wine goblets with this method -- works for me. Good luck
