Does any one know of a video on how to sharpen carbide cutters for the Oneway coring system? I know you have to use a diamond hone but am not sure of the actual procedure.

Some lapping fluid and a diamond hone, card or plate. Hone the top surface. Not a good idea to use the CBN wheels and the jig they used to use for the old cutter. No idea what that material was.

I just got the Oneway jig and found it makes the task much easier. The video from Oneway with the guy from Maine is not much help as the cutter is so small I cannot see what he is doing.

I put it in the jig and do it by hand on an 800 grit belt. Frankly I find it to cut better if I sharpen the bevels rather than the top/flat. Also to note - I get much more effective cutting if I sharpen (on a belt) rather than use a grit that would be considered "honing" - like a 4000 grit micromesh belt for example. An absolute must is to touch that cutter up with every core or I'm just wasting time.
