For some reason, there is no "upload image" box available when I try to upload a picture with a post. The only access shown is via an internet site.

No, I get a simpler display that does not include a browse button not the options for formatting and emoticons that your screen shows. Strange, because I have posted images many times in the past.

You have misspelled your name. It must be EXACTLY as you entered it when you created your profile. If you do not have a profile or if our forum software cannot find it, you cannot upload photos into a message.

Gary, you and William are correct. I switched back to the old name (which, by the way, mysteriously got changed without any known input from me) and I now have image browsing capability. Thanks

Ah, yes, the profile. The hint is the name in the message is plain black text and not a link with underlined blue text.
