I'm sorry to have to say that IMO, the WC Search facility became unusable a number of years ago. I have long since given up trying to use it.

It is broken, according to Ellis, but he pointed me toward how to search the site through google.com:

Click in Google's search field.

Type site: followed by the website URL you want to limit the search to. ...

Follow the website URL with a single space and then type the search phrase.

Press Return or Enter to begin the search.

For example, enter in google search window:

site: woodcentral.com mirrors

and you will get you several links to various WC discussions of mirrors.

Just tried it and it is slick to say the least! There is a wealth of information here.

That's the method I've had to use for a long time
