Christmas inspiration

After seeing all the ornament posts I figured I would give it a try for some Christmas presents. I've been hacking away at bowls for the past couple years so this smaller stuff is pretty new to me. Globes are hard maple and osage orange (maple was a bear to hollow) and the finials are chechen, purple heart and walnut. My wife is happy with them so all is good...

Good job although I would think Osage.would be harder than maple to hollow.

Yes, I hollowed them out, got a little over zealous on the one with the larger walnut bottom which required a bit of a design change 8-)
