I am very slowly working on it. Trying to buy a new computer now. Hope to have that done in the next few weeks. Will be a while before I start the rest because I have to move and build a new workshop first.

Well, sort of.

Go to Demonstrator Direct on the AAW website and use their search tool. You will find about 33 demontrators who identified themselves as "Remote" demonstrators. Unfortunately when this tool was first rolled out, there was some confusion over the terminology, remote demonstrator. It has been clarified to "Live Remote Video" now but it may take a while for all of the demontrators to update their profile. I suspect this will happen when they have been contacted by a few clubs seeking "Live Remote Video" demonstrators. This list will continue to grow as more clubs discover that live interactive demonstrations over the internet really do work well and are cost effective. As the demand increases for these demos, so will the list of demonstrators. I had my doubts initially, but one of the clubs I participate in had Lyle do his demo over the internet and it truely was as good as him being in the room but without the travel costs.

Many thanks to Alan Zenreich who has been a true champion of this new approach. Without his inspiration, enthusiasm and training assistance I know I would not have climbed the technology curve to be able to do remote live interactive demonstrations.

Unless your computer is very old it will do fine (almost anything that shipped with Win 7 or 10). Download the Vmix software you get 30 day to test the software for free no credit card required.

Our Richmond, VA club had Trent Bosch give a video link/presentation last month and it was Great! The technology for doing that sort of thing has come a long way since my early days as an advocate for Tele-training days in the Navy. Philip
