Thanks John! No carving, no Ironman. Busted up a shoulder that needs fixin' - can't swim. Make a lot more money turning than carving, so...

Love the ambrosia pattern in that bowl, great job on centering it. Must have been a huge blank?

I did a maple bowl not long ago with nice spalting in it but could not center it that way, I got to start posting pix but it's a pain with an apple phone IMO.

Thanks Jamie! I've been through a lot since those days. I now work exclusively out of a large makerspace where I teach turning (among other things). Updating my turning techniques as really I haven't learned anything new in a dozen years. Actually getting the itch to put out a few new of my bugs in the new year.. we'll see.
