Been a busy boy lately.

Hard to get much done when you have to drive 120 miles every day but I still manage. Here are the ornaments I made practicing for my Ashville Demo next weekend. Well they are also donations to our club to raise money. These are all one piece and only one of them is hollowed.

Very nice John, what did you use to color the ones that have the colored bands on them? What size range are they?

Most of these start with a 4 1/2" blank so there are about 3 1/2". I use all sorts of things to color them. Permanent markers are good. I also pick up any markers that are gold or silver just to see how they work on wood. Some work great other not as well. Can't remember the brands. Most of the better markers purchased at art supply stores that say archival on them work well.
Some of those have a metalic wax band. I purchased that at Hobby Lobby. I forget the name but something like Metalcraft.

How did you create the pattern on the ornament in the bottom row 3rd from left?

I create that pattern using just the corner of the mini sorby spiraling cutter. I keep.the cutter vertical and swing the handle left or right and then push it straight in.
