I recently purchased a General 260 wood lathe. I need to adjust the belt tension but cannot find any instructions on how to do so. Can anyone help me out or get me in the right direction?

If it is the model with variable speed from a frequency converter, there is no adjustment as such. The belt is tensioned by the weight of the motor, which is mounted on a hinged plate.
