What is the name of that thing?

I am planning out a horizontal mortiser and am in need of a particular part - the name of which I simply do not know. In this photo what is the free spinning base on this press clamp called? The thing at the very bottom that directly contacts the item being pressed.
I call it a swivel pad

Thanks Mark. That's what the whole thing is. I need the name for just the piece at the bottom, the one that allows the screw to rotate freely and provides pressure to the item being clamped.

I call that part the Pad. I was wondering if anyone makes replacement pads for C-clamps? I have a number of clamps that have half@ss pads that leave imprints on the wood piece. The pads have deformed and tuned into domes. So, can you buy larger better pads?

There seem to be several suppliers of them out there - but they are not cheap.

At those prices I will just continue to use wooden pads to protect the work from the clamps.
And perhaps shop yard sales and auctions for better clamps.
