The liquid ca should be no problem in checked bag.

Aerosole cans are not a problem either.

Just no mapp gas

Be sure to put your glue in a sealed plastic bag or you could arrive with your underwear stuck to your gouges.

Thanks Mark. I'm gonna call the airlines tomorrow to try and get a firm answer. I will bag it. I've had glue leak out before although I will be taking unopened bottles. I'll be bringing back opened bottles.

John, You might want to open the bottles and squeeze the air out. I've had a couple leak from the reduced air pressure

My guess would be to go with what has been said but there is also the problem of individual's working the lines. That could become time consuming. so good luck!

I use very little CA as I consider it a temporary joint but I've discovered titebond CA bottle to be far superior to all the other brands. As I don't use much but I keep thin, medium and thick on hand and I don't have any problem with stopped up spouts or bad CA with theirs. You do have to take care NOT to cut the spout too low or it doesn't work!

The difference is the top cap, if you look inside of it there is a small protrusion that goes down into the spout when cap is put back on. I have some that is 5 or more years old and it still works.

I do force as much air out of bottle as I can when done with it.

Thanks Don I use the CA and accelerator to glue the waste block onto my mirrors. It's the best way I've found for me and for my students. I also use it to cure small tear out problems and is a good thing to teach students.

Ralph I heard back from the TSA and small bottles of CA and Accelorator are OK if put in checked baggage. I will be taking unopened bottles but of course bringing back opened bottles so they will go into a plastic bag, both for easy inspection and for spill containment.

Maybe double bag them! I like small plastic containers like tupperware or something.
