Hello,

My old reliable computer with windows 7, got slower a nd slower and I decided to reboot.

It could not boot again, no matter what I tried.

One of my daughters gave me one of hers, an Acer Aspire Z-3 710.

It works fine but I cannot find things, I managed to log into WoodCentral andthe screen has a black overlay, I can see the ads and the listing in blue, when I open one to read, I cannot see anything because the text is in bl ack.

I cannot figure out how to get rid of the black overlay, could somebody help me? Gracias!

There is a conversation about this over in the General board. I had he same issue - using Chrome - turned off Hardware Acceleration and that fixed it.

On the top right corner of the browse is three vertical dots...click there...on the drop down, click Settings....scroll down and click Advanced......scroll down to the option block titles "System" and turn off "Use hardware acceleration when available."

That seems to have worked for many folks. I don't have any idea what that option is either!?!?
