The guy next door just cut down a couple of norfolk pines so I got 4 4" pieces now they are leaking sap like crazy what can i seal the ends with and do i have to seal the branch holes ? How long before can i try and turn a bowl ? thanks

4" diameter pieces? Gonna be really tiny bowls.

Wear a rain coat & be ready with mineral spirits to wipe up the sap.
