A splash of primary colors in the shop........

...on a wet and ugly day. Found a plank of quilted Oak in my stash, turned these 6" squares yesterday. First color a light wash of India ink to enhance the grain, then dyed with TransTint dyes. Added a bit of bling to pop the eye appeal, Golden Interference Blue(opal) on the green and blue squares, and Auto Color Purple Flair on the red. These metallic interference colors don't photograph well, but are real attention grabbers in person, enhanced by a glossy finish.
