I have a 1 year old PM 3520B that has been great so far. I turned it on today and the digital read out is stuck at Zero. The manual doesn't address this issue.
Has anyone else run into this and if so, how did you resolve it.

First thing of course is to unplug it and let it sit for a minute or so. If the machine still works but the readout is zero then there may be something wrong with the speed sensing sensor. I could not find where the readout sensor is on the parts diagram. It could have slipped out of position. I believe I've read about that happening. I have a 3520A. I can look and see where mine is but it's probably not in the same position since they added indexing and change the spindle lock position and some other changes on the B series.

Locate the speed sensor and verify there is a target positioned on the spindle
that the sensor can read. You might also check the wiring going to and from the
sensor and the terminations to verify it is still intact.

If the pickup diode and the sensor disk are not in alignment, for whatever reason, the readout will not work.
Be careful with the wires going to the display - they carry 240 VAC.

It turned out that the sensor was very slightly out of alignment. Thanks for the tip. All is well now.
