.... did eat at the original Cracker Barrel in Lebanon TN which has been demolished and rebuilt, so that goal can't be repeated.

I used to meet a group of photographers at that cracker barrel a few times a year. We would all go out and shoot a while and then come back and have a great breakfast. I was sad to see it go.

We have one here and I haven't even visited it....
I think I have eaten at two over the years. I much prefer Waffle House but I am a cheap redneck.
Jamie, do you think you can drive that Porsche to all 645 locations. If you can get here we will put you up for free.....and take you to breakfast at the location of your choice as long as it is Waffle House.

I like to visit the restaurants to look for spiders. This one is outside the Cracker Barrel in East Knoxville.

My little buddy Elijah was the best spider finder.

...Waffle Houses when traveling, but Shan did not approve after we wed. She enjoyed the vegetable plates at Cracker Barrel, and we often "dined" there as we traveled. Of course the deciding factor was the fact that we were pulling a 43' trailer in our photography business travels, and most Cracker Barrels are located at Interstate junctions and have dedicated RV parking. That's a win-win situation!

I've had a rough summer with spiders. I had a bite about 4" above my ankle, that got bigger than a silver dollar. I was just a day or so away from a doctor visit when it finally stopped looking worse. It took several weeks to disappear. Also had several smaller ones. I've taken to putting my pants legs into my socks, and wrapping with plastic wrap while I clean out a shed.

Next time you take the time to don your spider-protection suit I have plenty of sheds to clean out.
