My Daughter died from Ovarian Cancer the beginning of August and the family asked me to make an Urn for her ashes. This is what I came up with and will take it to Dallas the beginning of September for the memorial. Had a couple of wild moments keeping up with that twist, but we got it done. And the wood came from my yard too. Never tried a Barley Twist before, so this one got me to use some words I haven't used for a long time.
Jerry: My condolences on the loss of your daughter.
Your piece is nicely done. Congrats on trying something new here - I turn so infrequently that I am relearning each time. So I aspire to pieces such as you've shown here.
