Been giving my "noodles" to my brother for chicken bedding and nesting boxes. Going to start a run of walnut bowls. Wondering if those shavings are ok for birds.

I have a lady that has been userkng my shavings for years. I just call and she comes and picks them up.

Sure is better than tossing them in the dump.

JL

Black walnut shavings are somewhat insect resistant. Which is another thing to consider. So they maybe somewhat more of a benefit than just plain bedding.
