I find it interesting that I never hear of anyone owning one of these big monsters. I saw one at one of the AAW events. They had 2 people turning on it, one outboard and one inboard and it wasn't bogging down. Interesting. Side by side in the real world I don't know how they compete with Oneway, Robust, Serious Lathe and other top of the line models.

I've wondered about these lathes, too. They seem like fine machines. I guess I confused them with Woodfast (?) I hope they are in production and doing well; would love to test drive one.

I tried to locate a website for the lathes to look at the different models.
I had no luck locating an actual website for the manufacturer.

I turned on one a bit in Woodworker's Supply when they had a location in North Carolina. They seem to be a fine lathe. They have several sizes, up from 10X17 to the monster in the video.

I've not turned on Woodtek's large lathe (their No. 1). I've heard good things about it, but I've always been concerned about the 2,000 rpm maximum speed. That's more than adequate for turning large items. But, for smaller items I routinely turn at a higher speed. A 2,000 max rpm wasn't uncommon a couple of decades ago, but I'm not aware of any more modern lathes that don't allow you to turn at speeds approaching if not exceeding 3,000 rpm.
