I have found these CD/DVD tops work especially well if you glue two together before making the top. The extra weight and rigidity helps.
Nice job iwht the spiraling - simple and attractive.

Nice! Another use for old CDs: the "artistic" son would fasten thin business card magnets on the printed side and then stick them to the car doors/trunk when we traveled - car jewelry! Got a lot of looks and comments. :-)
