Help please - Hosaluk Spatula Jig

bowlman

I have an order for a boatload of wooden spatulas. Some years ago, Mike Hosaluk shared a drawing or photo of a jig he uses on the bandsaw to preform the spatula blank.

And you know I can't find it!

So, if anyone out there has that particular drawing or jpg, could you please send it to me or post it here. please?

It will save me a bunch of time ...

Rubber Chucky folks are selling a spatula holder and have videos of blanks being turned. That may help.

Just after you give up and create your own process, you will find the notes.

Ken,

Yes I know about the rubber chucky spatula chuck. I am testing one right now. What I am looking for is the bandsaw jig that puts the taper on each side of the "blade" of the spatula. Still looking for it ...

There is a video titled "Cutting the Blanks" near the bottom of the page on the site. Shows the jig & process clearly.
