Zebra wood experiment

I had a piece of Zebra wood that was not quite wide enough to make a mirror. I cut it twice as long as needed and then resawed it and glue it side by side. I cut this in half and glued both halves together to make it thicker. It still wasn't thick enough so I cut it round and glued the cutoff on. The top and bottom was too narrow to make the outside ring so I cut off the corners of these. I cut the 2 waste pieces so it left a gap of 1/3/8" after gluing them on then I cut the corners of of these and glued them together. I squared up both ends and cut to 1 3/8" and glued it on the gap. Now I had enough wood to make the mirror. I know that is a rediculous waste of time but during this week of driving my step son to radiation every day I only had a little time each evening so I would make a cut glue it up and come back tomorrow and do it again. So in reality I don't really have much time in it and saved a piece of wood. See if you can find the joints.
