I'm going to get to play at the lathe

I get to spend the morning playing at the lathe. Don't get much of that right now. Stepson has one more week of Chemo and radiation. That means another 1000 miles of driving. Hard to get much done around the house when your gone a minimum of 5 hours each day. Tuesdays and thursdays it's 6am to about 4.
Got a lot of mowing done yesterday. So I can play a little this morning. I've designed a bunch of new mirrors this week while sitting at the hospital. Also designed a new inside-out turning that I think will work. Don't know until I put a practice piece on the lathe but I'm pretty sure I can work out the details. Then have to figure out what I can do with that.
Won't get a whole lot done because it's mothers day and I'm taking my favorite mother (my wife) to Lowes to get some flowers and other stuff for our yard.
