OT But not really

Since I lost my shop, life has been ups downs, more downs than ups, but finally yesterday we poured the slab where the new shop will be built.
Remember the generosity of Dough Thompson that did a fund raiser? And then the generosity of many, many of you that contributed.
I have no words to express the extent of my gratitude, but here is a pic of the slab
note the proviso for radiant heat.
So some time soon the hull of the shop will be up

Heat in the floor is really nice in a work shop.
Much easier to control the environment and humidity levels and low maintenance.

Yes that's wonderful. I want heat in the floor in my bathroom.

Jorge, lots of our club members got Thompson gouges thanks to Doug's generosity to help with the rebuild so we're glad to see your project going forward.

My current go-to-gouge is one I got in the fund raising. I seldom pick it up without thinking of you and of Doug's generosity. Glad to see it coming together.
