Looking for Lamp Design

I made beds and nightstands for my granddaughters.
I want to make them some bedside lamps. I am looking for a lamp turned out of cherry in this case and it has a sort of "feminine" form. I have seen them before, but just spent about an hour hunting on the internet and can't find a good starting point. Any help would be appreciated.

I e turned a lot of lamps over the years. Dont hae many photos. What i do is just google lamps,.not turned lamps, just lamps. Then try to keep.an open mind and youwill probably come up with a.design that can be made out of wood..

I spent hours sorting through Google images and did not hit on what I wanted. I have seen the lamp and assumed I would remember. Now that I want to do it, not so much.
I did find a couple on Google that would do.
Anybody bought lamp parts lately? Where. Globes, shades etc.

In my area there are only 3 places. One is an electrician place that also sells lamps. Their parts are too expensive and they act like it's a chore to sell you parts. The other place is great but their shades are very expensive. Their parts are inexpensive and they will dig through old bins to find what I need.
Then there's Lowes. I buy my lamp rod and other simple odds and ends through them. They have a good choice of globes, and so so choice of shades but the shades are a lot less expensive.
If you want to go all out here is my Cardiac lamp. It's completely hollow. The defib paddles are wood carved in two directions to match the lamp. I put a touch sensor in the lamp so when you touch the defib button the lamp comes on and dims. The heart has all of it's arteries replaces with plastic. My Dad was going through Heart problems at the time and had a quad bipass.
One time I thought I would make an ornament look like it was made out of brick and concrete. It turned out so well I decided to make a lamp look the same.
And then of course there's the Gun lamp that I made so my son would have a place to store his guns.

You are WAY too creative for me. I remember your gun lamp. I first impression of you cardiac lamp before I realized what the "attachments" were was "fat bottom girls make the world go round". That may have sprung from having said I was looking for the feminine form.
I used to have a catalog of lamp parts. I made quite a few lamps and fixtures over thirty years ago, but I threw the catalog away in a burst of ill informed cleaning up. Now I can't even remember the name.
I have bought from Lowes. There is a local lamp/lighting shop but they looked like hoarders and were more than a little strange. OTOH, might be a good place to start.

Designed and made this one years ago.
Base and column are walnut....pendants are made of tulipwood with the upper ones scaled smaller than the lower ones. The photo is deceiving....pendant sizes are (upper ones .3 x .925) (lower ones .340 x 1.065)
Base diameter is 5 3/8" with the overall height of the wood being 10 7/8".
Just food for thought......

Maybe look at images of ahphora and Greek urns for inspiration.

Well, first, floor lamp or table lamp. I can't remember where I saw it, but Ernie Conover did an article some years back about a floor lamp that was patterned after a tall candle holder, so base, 2 part stem with a candle wax catcher in the middle, and a lamp on top. Started with square stock, and routed out a wire path in the center, and then turned it. Looked really nice.
