Wednesday Night Turning Chat -- Please Read

Stuart Johnson

Lately the Wednesday turning chat has dropped off considerably to the point of only one or two logging in at times. In the past, we regularly had a dozen or more participating, there were announced topics that would normally morph into a completely different subject. From time to time Ellis would arrange for a guest speaker to join us and answer our questions.

It’s time to fix the turning chat, attract new participants and re-energize past ones. What would motivate you to join us? If it is specific topics, what would you like to chat about? If the day (Wednesday) or the time (9:30EDT) is inconvenient, when would be better for you? If we were to have guest speakers on a regular basis, whom shall we invite? If you would like to BE our special guest, contact me or Ellis any time.

> Give it some thought and join us tonight to chat about your ideas. Of course you can also post your thoughts to this message. Help us rebuild the Wednesday Turning Chat. It is a potentially valuable resource just waiting to happen, but we need YOU to be there with your good energy and your questions and answers.

I got your notice of the Wend. night chat, today Thurs. the 4th. perhaps the notice should go out a day earlier for 2 days in a row. Just my 2 cents.

I don't know why you got the notice a day late but we have a hard enough time with folks forgetting even when a reminder is sent out on Wed. afternoon. I'll give a day before reminder as well and see if it makes any difference.

Joe, you may be having a problem with your browser not reloading the WC site with new data when you log on. Try hitting the refresh browser icon each time you log on to verify that you are getting the latest data.
