I was watching a show about some fantastic detector they have installed about a mile underground to detect Nutrinoes or some such exotic particle. Said they can pass all the way through the Earth. Clean room conditions. Two showers to get in.
They said the conditions were less than 200 dust particles per cubic foot of air. And, outside in a typical urban setting there are 35 million particles per cubic foot of air. What????? 35 million?? I can't imagine. Seems like you would have to cut it with a knife. How can we survive breathing such stuff? I will be wearing my PPG until I learn more.
Is this possible?
