Decades old wood color

Dick Coers

I made this broach for my Mom, at least 25 years ago. Tulipwood outer, padauk accent ring, osage orange center. It still has it's appeal, but today, all shades of brown. Something to remember when doing all those colorful segmented bowls! It's been well used, and often on a dress or outer coat, but then put in a closet or drawer when she took it off.
