I just wanted to give a big thank you to John C Lucas for one of his videos I watched not too long ago. With a lot of encouragement from John K. Jordan I have been practicing my skills with the skew and feel like I'm getting better each time I use it. I always thought I had it sharp enough but then one day I watched a video that John C Lucas made where he demonstrates using the Eze-Lap diamond hone sticks to put a razor edge on his skews. So I bought a set of these hones and wholly cow!! I thought I had a sharp skew before using these but how wrong I was. I used the hone sticks as John demonstrated and my skew is now wicked sharp. I have a bald spot on my arm where I had to see if it would shave some hair (it does). I used the hone sticks on my parting tool and even to touch up a few other tools. It was one of the best videos I've seen in a long time, and this one didn't cost me an arm and a leg. So John, thank you very much!
