You don't like to use the classifieds?

It appears to me that Bowlman posted his offers on the Classified forum within four minutes of when he posted it here. A lot of us don't check the Classifieds nearly as often as we check the more high traffic fora, so double posting is always appreciated.

I don't pay any attention to the clock

Dick Coers

I read the post, then checked the classifieds for more details. The ad was not there, so I asked about it. No big deal.

… so I usually don't watch the clock too carefully either. I checked this time just to make sure everything was working right with the system. I agree, it's not a big deal. I also wanted to make sure that no one new to WoodCentral got the mistaken impression that we have some draconian rule about only posting FS and WTB items to the classifieds. We do not! I wasn't picking on you. It is often difficult to read someone's tone of voice, body language or facial expression over the internet. :) It is important to post to the Classified forum, just because postings there don't immediately scroll off the bottom of the screen and into oblivion. The "Email me when a reply is posted" box should also be used when the original post is made. It is also important to post a follow-up "Sold" message when that has occurred, but an omission there is usually pretty quickly self-correcting.
