Cool Story - I enjoyed it.
Well that was really cool.

Thanks John. Great story.
Vegatable oil

Did you catch where she said she puts soybean or vegetable oil on them before putting them up to dry. Most of us don't recommend using vegetable oil anymore because it becomes rancid. It's at 5:50 in the video. It was so entertaining I watched it again.

Watching that makes me want to go visit and buy a dough bowl or something.
Road trip, road trip!

There is no doubt that they look handcrafted. Hope I have that much energy in my 80's, finding the 70's bad enough.

That is a great video. And yeah, I caught the vegetable oil bit too.

Really wonderful! I loved it! I even picked up something I am going to look into: I NEVER seem to be able to get my chain saw going and have to pull and pull. She has this terrific saw where she just pulls slowly as for a window blind, which somehow winds up the mechanism, and then lets it go to start the saw. I have to get one!

I have two Stihl 250 chainsaws and one is like that, the 250c model or something (I'd have to look). You pull the cord several times as gently as you want until it winds up the spring, then it kicks over and starts. (Well, when cold it blips, as designed, then flip the lever up one notch and this time it always starts) I've had this for maybe 10 years now. Great saw, and light weight - I keep an 18" bar on it and use it for almost everything. It also has the no-tool chain adjuster.

Oh Yeah?!!??

I have a hatred for one cylinder engines and they know it and reciprocate. IF I came to your shop and just stood next to your chainsaw It would not start. I am pretty sure the tools started this.
Loved the video.

One of the Stihls here is electric. You can stand next to that one.

I have had several electric ones. Not a Stihl though. I like them. They start. And cut.
