More square ornaments.

I tried a few new ones. The silver one is a new experiment. I reduced the size of the bowls and made them deeper so I still had the holes all the way around but now I had room to do some texturing. Used the chinese knockoff of the small Sorby texturing tool.
I also included a group photo of all of the square ornaments.

I assume you are talking about the white one and the gold one that I did with the router. I use a router table that mounts on my banjo or one that sits on the ways of the lathe. then I use one of my index wheels to align the router. I have the router mounted on a cradle that holds the small router at a 45 degree angle. Then I use a 1/2" straight bit and cut with just the corner. I align the table at an angle so it will take a deep cut at the beginning and run out of the cut toward the middle. In the gold one I had the router mounted below center. This makes the cuts look like they spiral.
