>After watching your dvd I questioned the procedure to pull the gouge back while cutting on the right edge until... I was turning a 18" Buckeye bowl tonight and could not keep from getting the tearout/fuzz associated with it. I tried everything I usually do on Cherry etc. but to no avail. Then I thought ok I'll try Bill's pull back cut. It worked! thanks again for sharing your knowledge.
