>I went on-line yesterday at www.lightningpublications.com They have the british 'Woodturner' magazine subscription at $59, much cheaper than the regular $84. They also have some turning books discounted. I ordered Fred Holders 2 books....

>With the exception of Joe's Woodturning Design =o) Woodturning from the UK is one of the best mags out there. I particularly like Dave Regester's articles as he reports on the life of a professional woodturner and they have had a few hi-tech guys gone woodturner which is what I did. Simon Whitehead has humurous articles of his perils of starting out as a turner.
