Griz. Lathes, any good?

>I am looking on buying a new griz lathe and I am looking to see if anyone out there has aone or has used them. Any feedback would be great.

I am looking to do spindles here and there and an ocasional bowl.

Anyone have Griz's new lathe that they came out in 2005?

>I've got their "Heavy Duty" from about 4 years ago. I use it to turn rungs and legs. No good at all for outboard turning. Needs plenty of extra weight (sand bags) to stop it from walking. Tail stock seems lacking "pushing" power when I try to drive the tail center a bit into the stock. Presently rebuilding a Powermatic 90 to replace it. I'd wait and accrue a bit more cash to buy something better or shop carefully for a good used up-scale model. Hope this helps...
