A tool grind question

>I grind my favorite gouge with a swept back grind on the sides.
I never seem to get the top edge of the sides convex. At best they appear level - at least not concave.
Am I grinding the wings too far back - or what?

>Hi Doug, this one may require that you post a photo of your grind. I suspect that you are using the wolvering jig, with the adjustment way up toward the front. If so, bring the adjustment back, it will affect the side grind.
