>Too small? Nah, not at all. Foot might be a tad shorter, but a very nice looking piece of work. Very nice.

>That is really very nice. I would agree with Mike, the foot may need to be a bit shorter but I think that it's width is fine. Very nice shape to that bowl!

>Hi Dave...I like it! I really like this form. The small foot gives it artistic value I think. It adds interest.
Nice job!

>Nice peice Dave. I tend to lean towards a shorter foot, maybe even a crisp transition after the gentle curve of the bowl itself. Very nice though, that Waterlox is a bit of a bear in my experience, but a great finish.

>Hi Dave,
Nice piece. I like that wood, very nice grain. I like the shape and the lift that the foot provides, but think it would like nice also with a shorter one. Either way, I think it works fine.
Thanks for the pic,
Mike
Looking forward to lathe time in Apex, NC...

The Cottonwood is a bit of a PITA to turn, but here in the high country we're hardwood deprived, so you gotta dance with who brung ya, as they say. Working on a natural edge piece and one from scrub oak, so I'll post those soon. Again, thanks!
