Bob Rosand / Mark St. Ledger Demo this Saturday
Bert Smith
>Last week I sent out an invitation for a demo this weekend (see below). This is to serve as a reminder and to let you know we will be serving lunch. If you could post here or email me that you plan to attend, it will help us get a feel for how much food and how many chairs we will need. Our members have also said they want to have an informal show and tell, so bring something if you like.
Hope to see you this Saturday!
Bert
Two very fine turners and teachers will be demonstrating together on Saturday, Feb.26 from 9am until 4pm at the Artisans Center of Virginia. Mark St.Ledger and Bob Rosand will be side by side for what is going to be a great day of turning, teaching and fun! I will personally act as monitor (referee) if things get out of hand...when these two guys are together, you never know what might happen!
This demo is being offered by the Central Virginia Woodturners, here in Waynesboro.
Cost for the event is $15, and we are working on providing some kind of lunch.
The Artisans Center of Virginia is located right off of Interstate 64, Exit 94.
Hope to see you there!
Bert
