Help on boring bar/Hollowing tools

Barry Irby

>Does anyone know where I can find an article that was in the AAW magazine a few years back that gave the design specifics for boring bars/hollowing tools and what diameter the bar had to be for a given reach past the rest?

Trying to help a friend, Thanks in advance.

Barry Irby.

I'll try to look up that article tonight when I get home. My magazines are all over the floor in different boxes but I think I know where American Woodturner is and I know the article was in there. If you remember who wrote it, it will speeed up the search. I remember the article but don't remember who wrote it.
