Plastic doors

>I'm working on my new shop and I've put up some attic storage areas. I'm thinking about putting those plastic sheet doors like they have in factories, over the storage areas to keep dust out but make them easily accessible. It's thick clear plastic about 8 or 10 inches wide and hangs down to act as a wind and bug break. I know I have a catalog that has them in it but can't lay my hands on the right box of books. Do any of you know where to get those. I'm going to try to get to Tractor Supply or the Coop tomorrow to ask but Idon't know if they have them.

>John check the yellow pages under shelving. Usually business that handle industrial shelving or display equipment quite often handle what you are looking for. Make sure you are sitting down when they tell you the cost as it is kind of pricy. I would say you should be able to find it locally unless you live in a one horse town.

Good luck

I live in a 2 horse town. Well maybe one horse and mule, oh yeah include the JackA## tax assesor. I hadn't thought about shelving. We have 2 places in town that carry used industrial shelving. One of them has heavy duty wheels and need to go by there anyway. I was worried about the cost but when you add up the time it would take to build doors for all this storage it might pay off.

>these are called strip doors, a company named aleco makes them. they are sold through a number of safety supply houses and industrial supply stores. along with grainger, there is northern eq. co., and c&h distrib. co.

bulk roll is of course cheapest way go, and prices vary. i don't have my grainger cat. handy, but they usually have good pricing. see links below, jimtex
