looking for used bandsaw a used lathe *LINK*

>I am looking for a used lathe and a used bansaw in working conditions but not to pricey. because my lathe is a bad $100 china lathe that shakes vigerously when i turn anything slightly of center. so im looking for something better but not too expensive. and im looking for a bandaw because I really need one for the work I am doing but i cant afford a new one so Im looking for a cheap old used one.

you don't say where you are located. I'm in Baltimore. Just purchased a 3520a and am selling my Nova 3000 with bed extension, handwheel, vacuum attachment and spare belts along with a heavy shop built stand. If you are interested and anywhere near Baltimore let me know.

>Glad to see another young student posting on Wood Central. Keep posting and keep showing your creations. Don't be afraid to ask for critiques of your work because that is how we all learn. Finding a cheap lathe won't be hard but finding a good and cheap lathe will be harder. The same can be said about band saws. Keep looking. It may take a while but sooner or later you will find the right ones. In the meantime keep on learning with what you already have.
Nice web site. My suggestion would be to increase the size of the print on the site and make it as easy to read as possible.

great lookign stuff and considering your age i would imagine there will be numerous more great works coming.. i saw a post on another forum a gentleman in salisbury mass had a 12" craftsman saw for 125$.. might be up your alley.. unless you need a bigger saw.. then i would say to try brentwood machine occasionally they have used ones..
