Jet 1442 replacement belt

>As noted in lower post about my speed problem, Jet says that the belt is worn/stretched, so that it is too long...not sure I think that, but they are sending a replacement belt, same as what is there...the guy told me the belt is cheap..but couldn't recommend a replacement of any other type...can someone let me know what size/type/style of belt to buy and I will get one locally and replace the orig belt??...lathe is only about 3 months old, with less than 40 hours total on it...but what can I do...Dennis
