Safety, Surrealism, and Definitions

Safety, Surrealism, and Definitions

Russ Fairfield

>It seems surrealistic to me, that we are having these two conversations at the same time. One thread is beating the drum for our being aware of absolute safety and possible injury at all times. At the same time another thread is trying to define a power tool as being "Off" when it isn't really OFF.

>Just think of the two threads as "consciousness raising" and they'll both snuggle up to one another. Remember, there are some who were indoctrinated to unplug all the small appliances when leaving the house.

Funny story...

Tony - Memphis

>When I was in my apt., I had an electric hot water heater. I always went home for a week at Christmas. Well, being the smart guy I am, I would always shut down the hot water heater right before I left to save energy. Well, I hit the wrong breaker one year....it was the Kitchen breaker.....yup, with the fridge....man, what a mess and what a smell! It was really bad. I bleached the fridge to try and get rid of the smell.

If so, I'd like to suggest....

Andy Halterman: We are melting away

>someone submit the 27 8x10 color glossy photographs with the circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one to be used as evidence against us as some new sightings photos. Smith ain't what I'd classify as eye candy. :-)
