There are an awful lot of very knowlegdable and accomplished turners here, it's the first place that I look for answers and rarely (if ever) have I had to look further.
Plus I've met in person and made some friends here as well.

Where in the Hudson Valley area are you? I went to college at Marist in Poughkeepsie.
