I have a Oneway spindle adapter for that size. I want to be able to show them a chuck mount and a faceplate mount. Looks like there is not much power so I will supply them with some smaller blanks to try.

Grizzly has some inexpensive small chucks that can be used with that lathe.

I realize it is small and limited in several ways. However, many questions have come up about this lathe by people who turn pens and other small items.

Most important is, does it vibrate when turning a small spindle? What do you think about the speed control? Does it stall?

>From experiance, this is a great little lathe for pen/stopper/yoyo spinning. The variable speed is quite a nice feature. The lock down handles are not the best, but for under $90 it will do. The lathe comes with 1 or 2 face plates 3" and 6" if memory seves me right. I've since sold mine to ugrade to a Jet. But I now regret getting rid of it, like I said it was a great lathe for the pens I do.
