Very very nice combo Eduardo

>I think that's the largest turning I've seen of olive wood. It has such a pleasing blend of colors in the olive wood. And the purpleheart is a beautiful complement to the O.W.
As to the shape, I like the bottom a lot -- nice lines and proportions. The top? well, I'm not sure, but I think if it were shorter and less abrupt it would suite my taste(?) a little more. The color contrast makes such a powerful statement that I think the size of the neck makes it almost compete with the base -- that and the fact the lines flow completely opposite one another.
That said, it's a heckuva lot nicer than anything that ever fell off my lathe.
I've admired your work for a while.

>Nice grain swirl. Lovely piece. You used neutral shoe polish? If you do work that good without all the fancy stuff, I would like to see what you do with the fancy stuff!
